Lighting That Lives in the Space Between Art and Function

At Malane Lighting Canada, we believe a light fixture is never just a light fixture. It's the first thing you notice when you walk into a room — and the last thing that lingers in your memory when you leave. It sets tone, casts shadow, shapes mood. It is, in every sense, a piece of sculpture you live inside.

That belief is what drives everything we do.

Our Story

Malane Lighting Canada began with a simple frustration: beautiful, architect-quality pendant lights and sconces were everywhere in European design studios and high-end showrooms — but almost impossible to find for Canadian homes without a luxury markup, a six-month lead time, or a commercial minimum order.

We set out to close that gap. Our team sources and curates sculptural modern lighting from ateliers and design studios around the world, chosen for aesthetic impact and built to the North American electrical safety standards Canadian homeowners and electricians expect — UL, CUL and ETL. If you need the certification documentation for a specific fixture before ordering, email us and we will send what the manufacturer supplies.

Today, Malane Lighting Canada ships to homes and studios across the country — from Vancouver lofts and Calgary new-builds to Montreal heritage conversions and Halifax seaside cottages.

What We Believe In

Design that endures. Trends come and go. We curate lighting that rewards you the longer you live with it — forms that look better as morning light shifts to evening, and as seasons change the quality of the sun through your windows.

Safety you can count on. We list fixtures built to UL/CUL/ETL electrical safety standards, and we will tell you plainly what documentation exists for any fixture you ask about.

Honest service. We're a small, dedicated team — not a faceless marketplace. When you write to info@malanelighting.ca, a real person responds within one business day. We help you get the right fixture for your ceiling height, your bulb type and your room's proportions.

Shipping that respects your time. Free shipping, delivery in 6–9 business days, and a 30-day return window — because we want you to be certain, not pressured. The full terms, including the 20% restocking fee on change-of-mind returns, are on our Return & Refund Policy page.

The Fixtures We Carry

Our collection spans the full language of modern residential lighting:

Pendant Lights — from understated single drops to dramatic multi-arm clusters
Wall Sconces — sculptural, directional, and always architectural
Chandeliers — statement pieces scaled for Canadian room heights
Ceiling Lights — flush and semi-flush designs that work with lower ceilings without compromise
Floor Lamps — arc, tripod, and uplighter forms that anchor a room
Table Lamps — intimate scale, outsized presence
Custom Lighting — bespoke specifications for designers, architects, and homeowners with a specific vision

Every category is curated with the same eye: does this fixture earn its place in the room?
