Malane Lighting began with a simple frustration: beautiful, architect-quality pendant lights and sconces were everywhere in European design studios and high-end US showrooms — but almost impossible to find for Canadian homes without a luxury markup, a six-month lead time, or a commercial minimum order.

We set out to close that gap. Our team sources and curates sculptural modern lighting from ateliers and design studios around the world, vetting each piece not only for aesthetic impact but for the rigorous safety certifications that Canadian homeowners and electricians rightly demand: UL, CUL, and ETL listed — the gold standard for North American electrical compliance.
