Lighting Features

Are your lighting products certified?

Yes. All Malane Lighting fixtures are UL/CUL/ETL certified, meaning they meet rigorous North American electrical safety standards. You can shop with complete confidence knowing every product has passed independent safety testing.

Can the lamps be dimmed?

Many of our fixtures are compatible with dimmable bulbs (E27, E14, G9). For built-in LED fixtures, dimmable versions are available. If you need a specific fixture made dimmable, contact us before ordering and we will customize it for you at no extra charge.

Can I get a longer cable or cord?

Our standard pendant cables are 150 cm. We can provide extensions up to 800 cm free of charge — simply let us know at the time of ordering and we will arrange it.

Do your fixtures include bulbs?

Bulb inclusion varies by product and is noted in each product description. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us before purchasing and we will confirm.

Are there handcrafted variations I should expect?

Many of our fixtures feature hand-blown glass or hand-finished metals. Small bubbles in glass, slight color gradients, or texture variations are hallmarks of authentic handcrafted lighting — they are not defects. Each piece is unique.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship to Canada and the USA?

Absolutely. Malane Lighting ships worldwide, including across Canada and the United States. Free shipping is included on all orders — no membership required.

How long does shipping take?

We aim to have your order delivered within 6–9 business days from the date of purchase:

  • Handling time: 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday)
  • Transit time: 3–4 business days (Monday–Friday) for North American orders; additional time may apply for other regions

Order cut-off time is 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Which carrier do you use?

We ship via UPS. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email so you can monitor your delivery every step of the way.

Can I track my order?

Yes. A tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order ships. You can track it directly on the UPS website or at 17track.net. Our team is also available 24/7 if you need help.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Address changes must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order, before it enters transit. Contact us immediately at info@malanelighting.ca or call +1 424-243-3145. We are unable to redirect packages already in transit.

What if my order is delayed?

We will notify you by email right away if your order is delayed beyond the expected delivery window. Our team monitors all shipments and will keep you informed.

Payment & Orders

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Klarna (Buy Now Pay Later), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more. All transactions are processed securely. All prices are listed in USD.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You may cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of placing it, no reason required. Please contact us as soon as possible at info@malanelighting.ca or +1 424-243-3145 to make changes before your order is processed.

Do you charge sales tax?

Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your shipping location. All prices shown on the site are in USD and exclude local taxes.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging in resalable condition. Non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. An official RMA number is required — contact us at info@malanelighting.ca to start a return.

What items cannot be returned?

The following are final sale and non-returnable: fixtures that have been installed or wired, custom-made or modified fixtures, chandeliers or large fixtures valued over USD $2,000, and light bulbs or clearance items.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. Report transit damage within 48 hours with clear photos of both the damaged product and the outer shipping box. Email us at info@malanelighting.ca. Claims submitted after 48 hours or without photos cannot be processed.

What if I receive the wrong item?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item received. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

When will I receive my refund?

Refund confirmation is issued within 2 business days of us processing your return. Funds typically appear within 3–5 business days for credit cards and 2–3 business days for PayPal.
