1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of malanelighting.ca and the purchase of products from this store. The store is operated by Malane Lighting Canada, 2148 Carling Avenue, Unit #2, Ottawa, ON K2A 1H1, Canada. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Product Information
We work to keep product descriptions, specifications, pricing and availability accurate and current. Colours and finishes may appear differently on your screen depending on your device. We reserve the right to correct errors and to change product information at any time.
3. Ordering and Payment
Placing an order is an offer to purchase at the prices listed. All prices on this site are shown in Canadian Dollars (CAD). We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including unavailability, a pricing or description error, or suspected fraud.
Payment is taken at the time of purchase. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are handled in 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 6–9 business days of purchase. Shipping is free. Full terms are in our Shipping & Delivery policy.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control, such as severe weather, carrier disruption or customs clearance. Tracking information is emailed to you when your order ships.
5. Returns and Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Return & Refund Policy. Non-defective returns carry a 20% restocking fee and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. An RMA number is required before returning anything.

6. Warranty
Our products carry a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accident, alteration, improper installation or unauthorised repair.

7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our products or website. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the products giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
