Arc Linear Pendant Light

At Malane Lighting, we champion the beauty of restraint. The Arc Linear Pendant Light is a masterclass in considered design — a long cylindrical PMMA tube cradled in a slim matte black metal frame, suspended by barely-there steel cables from a minimal ceiling bar. Clean, architectural, and quietly commanding, it is the kind of fixture that defines a room without overpowering it.

The Arc is a linear pendant light built for spaces that demand presence and precision. Its opal PMMA tube diffuses light evenly across its full length, eliminating harsh glare and bathing surfaces below in a soft, consistent glow — making it the ideal kitchen island pendant light or dining table suspension light for modern interiors.

Suspended from ultra-thin steel cables and a matte black ceiling bar, the Arc floats above your space with effortless architectural quality. The PMMA tube ceiling light diffuser resists yellowing over time, while the powder-coated metal frame delivers sharp contemporary contrast. As one of Malane Lighting's finest minimalist linear pendant lights, the Arc suits open-plan kitchens, dining rooms, offices, and hospitality spaces equally well.

What is PMMA and why is it used in the Arc pendant light?

PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), also known as acrylic, is a premium optical-grade diffuser material. In the Arc, the opal PMMA tube spreads light evenly across its full length without glare, while resisting yellowing and discolouration over time — far more durable than standard plastic diffusers.

Is the Arc linear pendant light suitable for over a dining table?

Yes. Its horizontal tube format provides wide, even illumination across the full length of a table or island surface, eliminating dark spots and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for dining.

Can the hanging height be adjusted?

Yes. The steel suspension cables are fully adjustable at the ceiling bar mount, allowing you to set the perfect drop height for your ceiling and intended use.

What light source does the Arc use?

The Arc features an integrated LED light source built into the PMMA tube, providing energy-efficient, long-lasting illumination. No bulb replacement is required under normal use conditions.
