Aura Yellow Travertine Orb Sconce

Ancient Stone Meets Radiant Geometry
The Aura Yellow Travertine Orb is defined by its warm, earthy tones and distinctive honeycombed texture. Carved into a perfect sphere, the yellow travertine creates a unique translucent experience; the light doesn't just surround the stone—it seeps through the natural fissures and pores, highlighting the organic "voids" that make travertine so sought after by designers. It provides an atmospheric, golden-hour glow that brings a sense of calm and permanence to modern interiors.

This fixture is a primary choice for "Biophilic Minimalism" and "Earth-Tone Modernism" aesthetics. Designers frequently recommend yellow travertine for spaces that need visual warmth without using bright colors. Its spherical form is a staple for "Zen-inspired" interiors and luxury wellness spaces, where the goal is to mimic the soft, filtered light found in nature.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Yellow Travertine" look like when the light is on?
Yellow travertine has a warm, ochre base. When the integrated LED is illuminated, the stone acts as a natural filter, turning the light into a soft golden hue. The natural pits in the stone allow brighter "sparks" of light to escape, creating a beautiful, irregular texture on the wall.

Can I change the color of the light?
Yes. This sconce features a versatile Kelvin range, allowing you to switch between Warm Light (3000K) for a cozy evening feel, Neutral Light (4000K) for general tasks, and Cool Light (6000K) for a crisp, modern look.

Is this light suitable for a bathroom?
The Aura Orb is IP 20 Damp-rated, meaning it can handle the humidity of a bathroom. However, it is not waterproof and should be placed away from direct splashes (like a shower or tub). It is perfect for flanking a vanity mirror to add a high-end "spa" touch.

The Malane Aesthetic: Light from the Core

While most globe lights use glass to diffuse light, the Aura Orb uses earth. This creates a denser, richer light quality that feels architectural rather than industrial.

Natural Pitting: We intentionally preserve the "holes" and texture of the yellow travertine. This ensures that every sconce has a different light pattern, giving you a truly bespoke installation.

Flush Sophistication: With a depth starting at just 3.1 inches for the small model, it provides a significant visual impact while remaining low-profile enough for narrow walk-ways.
