Bennett Wings Chandelier

The Bennett is often described as a "compact masterpiece." While the grand Angel Wings Chandelier is built for double-height voids (stretching up to 8 feet tall), the Bennett is optimized for 9-to-12-foot ceilings. It retains the same "frozen-in-motion" aesthetic, mimicking either a pair of wings in flight or—as some designers describe it—a shimmering school of fish turning in the light.

Precision & Customization

Articulated Glass Feathers: The chandelier is composed of approximately 60 hand-blown glass elements. These "feathers" are vertically ribbed to catch and refract light, creating a soft, prismatic glow.

Integrated LED Engine: The light source is fully built into the internal metal frame, providing a sleek, bulb-free look. These units are upgraded to CRI > 92, ensuring colors in your room remain vibrant.

Ceiling Spotlight Mounting: A unique feature of the Bennett is that many versions utilize a recessed or surface-mounted spotlight instead of a traditional large canopy. This makes the suspension wires appear as if they are disappearing into the ceiling, enhancing the "floating" illusion.

Bespoke Scaling: Retailers like Malane offer "Custom Drawings," allowing you to modify the wing spread or total drop length to perfectly match your floor plan.

Designer Tips

The "Eye-Level" Foyer: For a standard 2-story foyer, hang the Bennett so the top of the fixture is roughly level with the eye of someone standing on the second-floor landing. This ensures the "wing spread" is visible from both floors.

The Oval Dining Table: Because of its sinuous shape, the Bennett is a rare circular fixture that actually works over long oval tables. The glass elements create a sense of movement that complements the table's curves.

Monochromatic Layers: The White & Gold finish is the favorite for "All-White" minimalist rooms. The white glass feathers blend with the walls during the day and turn into glowing, golden-tinged sculptures at night.

Professional Note

Installation: Due to the delicacy of the 60+ glass elements, this fixture requires a licensed electrician and roughly 2–4 hours for unboxing and assembly.

Maintenance: To maintain the "shimmer," use a can of compressed air or a specialized feather-lighting spray every 6 months. Wiping individual elements by hand is not recommended due to the intricate suspension.

If you want the absolute "wow factor" of a luxury art installation but need it to fit over your 8-to-10-seat dining table, the Bennett Wings Chandelier is the superior choice over the larger Angel Wings model.

Lead Time: Because of the custom drawing and hand-assembly process, lead times typically range from 10 to 12weeks.
