Biarritz Undulating Linear Suspension

The Biarritz Undulating Linear Suspension blends formal structure with organic whimsy. Its primary design feature is a hand-finished, wave-like metal frame that mimics the rhythmic motion of the ocean near its namesake French coastal town. Often accented with hand-strung wood beads or delicate glass elements, the fixture provides a soft, diffused glow that feels both sophisticated and relaxed.

Undulating Silhouette: The frame features a gentle, wave-like "S-curve" that breaks up the rigid lines of a typical linear light, adding a sense of softness to rectangular spaces.

Mixed Materiality: The fixture typically combines a signature metal finish (like Aged Brass, Polished Nickel, or Matte Black) with organic accents bleached wood.

Adjustable Suspension: It hangs from a matching canopy via slender cables or stems, allowing for height customization to suit varied ceiling heights (sloped ceiling compatible).

Expert Recommendations
The Modern Coastal Dining Room: Pair the Aged Brass version with a light oak dining table and linen chairs. The undulating frame complements the natural grain of the wood and the soft texture of the upholstery.

The Gourmet Kitchen Island: Install the Biarritz over a waterfall marble island. The linear "wave" provides a striking visual contrast to the hard, sharp edges of stone countertops.

Double Height Entries: Because of its sculptural profile, it can also be used as a grand statement piece in lower-ceiling entries to create an immediate "wow" factor without the bulk of a traditional round chandelier.
