Cara Alabaster & Copper Pendant Light

Some materials simply cannot be replicated. At Malane Lighting, the Cara Alabaster & Copper Pendant Light stands as one of our most beloved pieces — a fixture carved from genuine alabaster stone that glows from within like a lantern, paired with the warm luster of copper hardware. Each shade is unique, carrying the natural veining and translucency that only real stone can offer.

The Cara is an alabaster pendant light in its purest form — a dome-shaped natural stone shade suspended from a twisted copper cord with a polished copper sphere cap. When lit, the alabaster glows with a warm, honeyed light that filters through its natural veins, making every shade a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art.

Available as a single pendant or as a trio cluster, this natural stone ceiling light transforms bedrooms, living rooms, and dining spaces with effortless luxury. The twisted copper pendant cord adds a refined, artisan touch that complements warm-toned interiors beautifully. As one of our finest luxury stone pendant lights, the Cara brings the calm beauty of natural materials into your everyday space.

Is the Cara pendant light made from real alabaster?

Yes. Each shade is carved from genuine natural alabaster stone. Because it is a natural material, every shade has its own unique veining and slight tonal variation — no two are exactly alike.

How does alabaster look when the light is on?

Alabaster is naturally translucent, meaning light passes through the stone rather than reflecting off it. When illuminated, the Cara glows with a warm, soft honeyed light that highlights the stone's natural veins — creating a truly unique and atmospheric effect.

Can I use the Cara as a bedside pendant light?

Absolutely. The Cara is one of our most popular choices as a bedside hanging light. Its soft, diffused glow is ideal for creating a calm and relaxing bedroom atmosphere. It works beautifully as a single drop or in a pair flanking a bed headboard.

Is the cord length adjustable?

Yes. The twisted copper cord is adjustable at the ceiling canopy, allowing you to set your preferred drop height to suit your ceiling height and space.
