Frequently asked questions

Can I adjust the direction of the light?

Yes — the Cilindro's head rotates so you can aim the beam exactly where you need it, whether that's up onto a wall, onto artwork or house numbers, or down toward a path. It's ideal for accent and highlight lighting.

Can it be used outdoors?

It's rated IP54, which protects against dust and splashing water, making it well suited to covered outdoor locations such as porches, entryways, and sheltered walls — as well as indoor accent use. For fully exposed, rain-hit positions, choose a Malane Lighting fixture rated IP65 or higher.

How bright is it and what color is the light?

The 5W integrated LED produces a soft, focused beam of 3200K warm white light, illuminating roughly 32–54 sq ft. It's designed as accent lighting rather than broad area lighting.

What finishes are available?

The Cilindro comes in black or white, both on a rust-resistant stainless steel body with a glass lens.

How is it powered?

It hardwires to a wide 100–240V supply with an integrated LED, so there's no bulb to replace. Hardwired connections should be made by a qualified electrician.
