Crystal Spin Customized Chandelier

It is designed to bridge the gap between static lighting and architectural movement, mimicking the swirling, organic energy of the Aurora Borealis (Polar Lights) or the rhythmic descent of a spiral staircase.

Like many of Malane’s "Architectural Series" pieces, it is characterized by the "Bespoken" service, where the fixture is tailored to the specific volume and sightlines of your room.

The Crystal Spin is defined by its dynamic spiral structure. Rather than hanging in a fixed, symmetrical block, the crystal elements are arranged along a winding, "spinning" path. It is the premier choice for grand staircases and double-height entryways, as its form guides the eye upward, emphasizing the verticality of the space while casting a shimmering, prismatic glow.

Refractive Motion & Bespoke Design"Support for Customized Drawings": The core value of this model is the custom design phase. Malane's team provides professional blueprints based on your specific ceiling height, allowing you to dictate the "tightness" of the spin and the overall drop length.Hand-Cut Crystal Rods: The chandelier utilizes premium glass cylinders or rods, each hand-cut to maximize light refraction. This ensures that as you move around the room, the light appears to "spin" or dance across the crystals.Flexible Rail Frame: Unlike traditional chandeliers with a rigid center post, the Crystal Spin often utilizes a modular rail system. This allows for unconventional shapes—such as "Areal" or "Linear" spins—that can snake through a room or follow the curve of a balcony.Integrated Multi-Tone LED: Features a high-CRI (90+) integrated LED system. The model allows for "Dynamic White" tuning, shifting between Warm Light (3000K) for evening ambiance and Cool Light (6000K) for high-visibility daytime events.

Designer Tips
The Stairwell Anchor: The "Spiral" configuration is most effective when hung in the center of a winding staircase. The "spin" of the crystals should ideally mimic the rotation of the stairs, creating a harmonious architectural flow.

The "Crystal Rain" Entryway: For a minimalist foyer, request a "Linear Spin" drawing. This spreads the crystals out into a long, thin wave, providing a sophisticated, weightless look that greets guests as they walk in.

Mood Layering: Because the Crystal Spin is highly refractive, it creates significant "sparkle" on nearby walls. Pair it with matte-finished walls (like venetian plaster or stone) to prevent the room from feeling overly "glitzy" and to let the crystal patterns take center stage.

Care Guide
Dust Resistance: The crystals are treated with an anti-static nano-coating to repel household dust.

Cleaning: For a fixture of this complexity, do not wipe individual crystals. Use a professional crystal-cleaning spray that drips dry, or a high-pressure air duster every 12 months.

Longevity: The integrated LED system is rated for 50,000+ hours. Should a segment fail, Malane’s modular design allows for the replacement of individual LED drivers without dismantling the entire crystal structure.

Lead Time: Because of the custom drawing and hand-assembly process, lead times typically range from 10 to 12weeks.
