Doppio Up & Down Outdoor Wall Light

The Doppio by Malane Lighting is a black up & down outdoor wall light that throws light both upward and downward for a dramatic dual-beam effect on facades, columns, and entryways. Rated IP65 in rust-resistant stainless steel with 3000K warm white light (CRI >80), it's available as solar-powered (auto-sensing) or hardwired, with a choice of COB optics for a wide fan-shaped wash or array LED for a long, focused beam. Two sizes — 6"W × 11"H and 8"W × 15"H.

Why you'll love it

• Up & down dual beam — light washes both walls above and below for a bold, architectural look on facades, pillars, and doorways.
• Two beam styles — COB delivers a wide fan-shaped spread for broad coverage; array LED projects a long, penetrating linear beam for strong directional accent.
• Solar or hardwired — choose auto-sensing solar for wire-free install, or hardwired for constant, stable power.
• IP65 weatherproof — sealed against rain and dust, in a rust-resistant stainless steel body built for harsh outdoor conditions.
• Warm, true color — 3000K warm white at CRI >80 flatters stone, brick, and stucco.
• Two sizes — 11" for compact walls and 15" for a larger, more commanding presence.

Frequently asked questions

How does an up & down wall light work?

The Doppio has light apertures at the top and bottom, so it casts beams both upward and downward at once. This creates a striking double "wash" on the wall — a popular look for facades, columns, garage surrounds, and front doors.

What's the difference between the COB and array LED options?

The COB model produces a wide, fan-shaped spread of light for broad coverage. The array LED model projects a longer, more focused linear beam with stronger penetration for directional accent. Choose COB for soft wide wash, array LED for sharper reach.

Should I pick solar or hardwired?

Solar is auto-sensing and wire-free — easy to install anywhere with sun, with an 8000mAh battery that charges in about 4 hours and runs up to 7 days. Hardwired (110–220V) gives constant, stable power regardless of weather. Pick solar for convenience, hardwired for reliability.

Can it handle rain?

Yes. The Doppio is rated IP65, fully weatherproof against rain and dust, with a rust-resistant stainless steel body designed for harsh outdoor environments.

How bright is it and what color is the light?

It delivers 1120–1260 lumens of 3000K warm white light with CRI >80, lighting roughly 54–108 sq ft. The warm tone suits courtyards, villas, and residential entries.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Turn off the power and wipe with a dry cloth. The stainless steel body and glass shade need no special cleaning products.
