Fize Bubble Glass Wall Sconce

Fizi — globes of bubbled glass set along a tall, slim bar of brushed bronze. Fine air bubbles rise through the glass like the fizz in a poured glass of champagne. The bar runs past the lowest globe and curves gently away from the wall, a small detail that keeps the line from feeling rigid.

Lit, a warm point of light sits at the heart of each globe, and every bubble catches it and scatters it into tiny highlights. Off, the clear glass and brushed metal still hold their own, so it reads as a piece of modern jewelry for the wall. Slim enough for a narrow hallway, striking enough to frame a bed or a mirror.

Why it is worth the wall

• Bubbled glass globes. The suspended bubbles vary, so each globe catches the light in its own way.
• One slim line. The globes sit along a single vertical bar, drawing the eye upward and adding height to a wall.
• Brushed bronze bar. The warm metal reflects a soft glow around the glass.
• Curved lower edge. A subtle sweep at the base gives the straight bar a sculptural finish.
• Three sizes. Choose 1, 2 or 3 lights to suit the wall (see below).
• Bulbs included. Ready to install, with nothing extra to buy.

Choose your size

Where it belongs

Hang a pair either side of a bed, one on each side of an entry mirror, or a series along a corridor, where the repeated globes make a quiet rhythm. Its narrow profile also suits tight spots beside a door or between windows, where a wider sconce would feel crowded.

Specifications

A note on the glass: the size and spread of the bubbles are part of how this glass is formed, so they vary from piece to piece and from the photographs. They are a feature of the material, not a flaw.

Frequently asked questions

Are the bubbles meant to be there?

Yes. They give Fizi its name and its character, and they are what scatter the light.

How bright is it?

Fizi is an accent light that gives a warm, atmospheric glow. It is ideal for evenings beside a bed or along a hallway, and works best alongside a ceiling light or lamp when you need more light to see by.

Which size should I choose?

The 1 Light suits bedsides and small spaces. The 2 Lights works well beside mirrors and along hallways, and the 3 Lights has the most presence on tall walls and in entries.

How high should I mount it?

Beside a bed, center it about 50–60 inches from the floor. In an entry or hallway, center it about 60–66 inches from the floor, spacing a run about 5–6 feet apart.

Do I need to buy bulbs?

No. The bulbs are included.

How do I clean it?

With the light off and cool, wipe the glass with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it. Dust the metal with a dry cloth, avoiding abrasive cleaners and metal polish.
