Floating Leaves Chandelier

Floating Leaves Chandelier has solidified its status as a masterpiece of "Biophilic Architectural Art." Designed to capture the effortless, weightless descent of autumn leaves caught in a gentle breeze, it transforms high-volume spaces into immersive, nature-inspired light installations.

While similar to the "Breezeleaf" model, the Floating Leaves edition is characterized by a denser "canopy" effect and a focus on textured glass artistry.

The Aesthetic: The fixture features a cluster of individually suspended hand-etched glass leaves. Each leaf is crafted with intricate, vein-like textures that catch and scatter light, mimicking the organic complexity of real foliage.

The Illusion: Utilizing ultra-fine, high-tensile aircraft cables, the glass leaves appear to drift in mid-air. This "weightless" design allows the fixture to fill a massive void without the visual clutter of a heavy metal frame.

Dynamic Spotlighting: The chandelier typically uses 21 integrated LED spotlights recessed into the ceiling canopy. These beams are angled specifically to filter through the 83 glass leaves, creating a shimmering play of shadow and light on the floors and walls below.

Support for "Bespoke Drawings"

One of Malane Lighting’s signature services is its Rapid Design Solution for the Floating Leaves series:

AutoCAD & 3D Modeling: If you provide your floor plans, their team generates 2D blueprints and 3D visualizations. This is essential for architects and contractors to ensure the leaf "drift" perfectly matches the room’s sightlines.

Density Control: You can choose a "Dense Forest" configuration for maximum light refraction or a "Light Breeze" configuration for a more minimalist, airy feel.

Extended Drops: While the standard suspension is 200cm, wires can be extended up to 10+ meters for triple-height stairwells or hotel lobby voids.

Expert Tips

The "Nature-In" Foyer: For homes with floor-to-ceiling windows, the Floating Leaves chandelier acts as an interior extension of the outdoors. Position it where it can catch natural sunlight during the day; the etched glass will "twinkle" beautifully even when the lights are off.

The Formal Dining Canopy: Over a 60-inch round or 10-foot rectangular table, the 120cm diameter creates an intimate, forest-like canopy. The downward spotlights provide excellent task lighting for dining while the glass provides the ambient "wow" factor.

Stairwell Spiral: Stagger the leaves in a descending spiral to follow the curve of a staircase. The transparency of the glass ensures that the architectural details of the stairs remain visible while the "leaves" fill the central void.

Lead Time: Because of the custom drawing and hand-assembly process, lead times typically range from 10 to 12 weeks.
