The fixture is 22 inches tall on its own, before the chain. Over a kitchen island, hang the bottom of the dome 30 to 36 inches above the counter; over a dining table, 30 to 34 inches above the tabletop. On a standard 8-foot ceiling this means shortening the chain considerably — on a 10-foot or vaulted ceiling the full 59 inches comes into its own. At 11 lbs, mount it to a ceiling box rated for the weight of a fixture, and have an electrician confirm the box and bracing.

What bulb does it take, and what is the maximum wattage?

One E27 screw-base bulb, 40 watts maximum. Do not exceed 40 W. Bulbs are not included. Because the diffuser is frosted glass, an ordinary LED bulb works well — 2700K to 3000K warm white suits the metal finishes.

Is this pendant dimmable?

No. It is controlled by a push button switch on the fixture and is not dimmable. Installing a dimmable bulb will not make it dim, and it should not be wired to a wall dimmer.

How much does it weigh, and what does it need to hang from?

5 kg / 11 lbs. That requires a ceiling junction box rated to carry a fixture of that weight, properly braced to a joist. A standard box intended only for a light shade may not be sufficient — have an electrician confirm before installation.

How long is the chain?

150 cm / 59 inches of metal chain. It can be shortened by removing links at installation, and longer chain is available on request for vaulted or double-height ceilings — contact us before ordering.

Can it be used over a kitchen island or in a bathroom?

It is rated for indoor use and is well suited to kitchens, dining rooms, entries, and living spaces. It is not damp- or wet-rated, so it should not be installed above a shower, a tub, or outdoors.

Yes. The frosted glass diffuser is held by a bolted retaining ring at the base of the dome, which unbolts so the glass can be removed and cleaned.
