KUU Pendant Light

Named after the Finnish word for "Moon," the KUU Pendant is a versatile, adjustable luminaire that allows the user to change its appearance and light direction with a simple touch. Its design is rooted in the concept of lunar phases, offering a poetic transition between direct task lighting and soft, indirect ambient glow.

360-Degree Adjustability: The inner light source rotates freely within its outer circular frame, allowing you to flip the light from a downward task beam to an upward ambient glow or an angled architectural accent.

Celestial Aesthetics: The minimalist circular silhouette mimics the moon’s transit, providing a sculptural presence whether the light is switched on or off.

Material Contrast: Typically crafted from high-quality painted aluminum and acrylic, the KUU balances a sleek matte finish with a translucent diffuser for an even, flicker-free output.

Interactive Lighting: Unlike static pendants, the KUU invites physical interaction, giving the user agency over the atmosphere of the room

Expert Recommendations
Dynamic Clusters: Grouping multiple KUU pendants at different angles and heights creates a "planetary" installation that is perfect for high-ceilinged entryways or living rooms.

Bedroom Sanctuary: Use the rotating feature to angle the light toward a wall for a soft, reflected glow that mimics moonlight, ideal for winding down.

Workspace Elegance: Position the light downward for focused desk work, then rotate it upward at the end of the day to wash the ceiling in soft light.

Does it stay in place after rotation? Yes, the friction-based joints are engineered to hold the light at any specific angle without drifting.

Is the LED replaceable? The KUU uses a high-end integrated LED module designed for longevity (approx. 50,000 hours), though professional servicing is recommended for module replacement.

Can it be used as a wall light? While primarily a suspension lamp, the KUU collection often includes a wall-mounted version that shares the same rotating functionality.
