Layered Disc Swing Arm Pendant Light

A pendant that moves to where the light is needed. Two jointed arm segments and a 360° rotating canopy let this fixture reach out over a dining table, kitchen island, or reading chair — without moving the junction box. Hang it, then swing it into place.

The shade is built from stacked discs of solid wood and solid metal, layered so the light falls in soft, tiered bands rather than a single flat wash. Warm walnut grain against a matte metal edge — a quiet mid-century silhouette that reads as furniture, not hardware.

Why designers specify this pendant

• Reach without rewiring. The swing arm repositions the shade horizontally, so a ceiling box that sits in the wrong spot is no longer a renovation problem.
• Real materials. Solid metal swing arm, canopy, and disc tiers; solid wood layered tiers. No veneer over plastic.
• Layered glow. The tiered discs shield the bulb from direct sightlines and bounce light down in stages — comfortable over a table where people face each other.
• Four finishes. Black, Walnut, Wood color, and White, so the fixture can either disappear into the ceiling or anchor the room.

Specifications

Where it works

Over a dining table where the ceiling box is off-center. Above a kitchen island or breakfast bar. Beside a bed as a swing-out reading light in place of a nightstand lamp. Over a desk or entry console. Anywhere the light needs to land somewhere the wiring does not.

Frequently asked questions

How wide is this swing arm pendant light?

The shade measures 15.7 inches wide and 9.4 inches tall (40 x 24 cm). The swing arm extends the shade horizontally away from the ceiling canopy, so the fixture's total reach depends on how far you open the two jointed segments.

What bulb does it take?

One standard E26 (North America) or E27 (Europe) screw-base bulb. LED and Edison-style bulbs both work. The bulb is not included, so you can choose your own color temperature — 2700K warm white is the usual choice for dining and bedroom use.

Can the pendant be moved after installation?

Yes. The arm has two jointed segments and the canopy rotates a full 360°, so the shade can be swung to a new position by hand at any time. No tools and no rewiring are required once it is mounted.

Does it need to be hardwired?

Yes. This is a hardwired ceiling fixture for indoor use, wired to a standard ceiling junction box and operated from a common wall switch. It does not include a plug or an inline cord switch.

Is it dimmable?

The fixture itself has no driver or dimming module, so dimming depends entirely on the bulb you install. Pair a dimmable LED or Edison bulb with a compatible wall dimmer and it will dim smoothly.

Will it work outside the United States?

Yes. It accepts AC 110-240 V and is certified for North America, Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. Use an E26 bulb on 110-120 V systems and an E27 bulb on 220-240 V systems.

How long is the cable?

150 cm / 59 inches, which suits standard 8 to 10 foot ceilings. Longer cable is available on request for vaulted or double-height ceilings — contact us before ordering.
