Ligurian Sinuous Dual Sconce

The Ligurian Sinuous Dual Sconce is a study in continuous motion. Moving away from the rigid geometry of traditional wall lighting, this fixture features a hand-formed, undulating spine that supports two hand-blown glass or metal globes. Designed to mimic the natural "S-curves" found in Ligurian sea-cliffs, the sconce acts as a functional piece of wall sculpture, casting a balanced, bi-directional glow that softens architectural transitions.

Sinuous Geometry: The hand-crafted "wave" arm provides a sense of organic tension, making the sconce appear as if it is floating away from the wall surface.

Balanced Dual Output: With two opposing light sources, the Ligurian provides simultaneous upward and downward illumination, ideal for creating "wall-wash" effects that add height and depth to a room.

Hand-Finished Textures: Available in Tumbled Brass, Aged Bronze, or Plaster White, each finish is applied to emphasize the subtle curves and shadows of the sinuous arm.

Low-Profile Projection: Despite its expansive vertical or horizontal presence, the sconce maintains a slim depth, meeting ADA compliance standards for high-traffic corridors and narrow entryways.

Expert Recommendations
The Grand Hallway: Install a series of three or four Ligurian sconces at 6-foot intervals. Their sinuous shapes create a rhythmic "pulse" of light that guides guests through the space.

The Living Room Mirror: Flank a large circular or arched mirror with two vertical Ligurian sconces. The organic curves of the lamp contrast beautifully against the sharp edges of the glass.

The "Mood" Wall: Use the Plaster White finish on a textured or "limewash" wall for a tonal, sculptural look where the light source is the primary focal point.

Can it be mounted horizontally? Yes. The internal mounting bracket is designed to support the fixture’s weight in both vertical and horizontal orientations, allowing it to work as a unique vanity light.

What is the "Sinuous" finish? This refers to the hand-applied patination process that ensures the finish follows the "flow" of the metal, highlighting the curves rather than hiding them.
