PH Artichoke Pine Cone Pendant Light

Layered Pine Cone Pendant Light

Built from tiers of hand-set metal petals, this pine cone pendant light casts soft, glare-free light straight down onto the table while the outer leaves catch and scatter a warm halo across the ceiling. Four diameters from 18.9 in. to 33.1 in. and six finishes let you scale the same sculptural silhouette from a breakfast nook to a double-height foyer.

Which size do I need?

Finish guide

Black and white read graphic and quiet - the safest choice over a busy table or against patterned wallpaper. Brushed stainless steel gives a soft, matte metallic sheen that hides fingerprints and pairs with stainless appliances. Polished stainless steel is mirror-bright and multiplies the light. Brass warms a room with a golden cast and flatters walnut and oak. Copper is the warmest and most saturated, and glows red-orange when lit.

Installation

The canopy mounts to a standard ceiling junction box. Hang the bottom of the shade 30 to 36 in. above a tabletop, and no lower than 7 ft above the floor in a walkway. The 28.3 in. and 33.1 in. sizes are heavy enough to require a rated ceiling brace or direct joist anchoring, so plan on a licensed electrician for those two.

Frequently asked questions

What size pine cone pendant light do I need over a dining table?

Pick a fixture about one half to two thirds the width of the table. The 23.6 in. size suits a 40 to 48 in. round or a 6 ft rectangular table, the 28.3 in. size suits 7 to 8 ft tables, and the 33.1 in. size is for banquet-length tables and open stairwells.

How high should it hang?

Hang the bottom of the shade 30 to 36 in. above the tabletop and at least 7 ft above the floor in an entry or hallway. Add roughly 3 in. of extra drop for every foot of ceiling height above 8 ft.

What bulb does it take?

One E27 socket. A standard U.S. E26 LED bulb fits with an inexpensive adapter. A 2700K dimmable LED between 800 and 1100 lumens produces the warm, layered glow the petals are shaped for.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible wall dimmer.

Can it be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

Yes. The steel cables hang plumb from the canopy, and a sloped-ceiling adapter keeps the canopy flush against a pitched ceiling.

How do I clean the petals?

Dust with a dry microfiber cloth, working from the top tier down. Avoid solvents, ammonia and abrasive polish on the brass, copper and polished stainless finishes.

Does it ship in the United States?
