Lodes Random Pendant Light

Inspired by the ephemeral joy of soap bubbles, it utilizes hand-blown glass spheres of varying sizes to create a fixture that feels more like a suspended moment in time than a traditional light. In the luxury market, it is celebrated for its Infinite Modularity, allowing designers to use it as a single delicate accent or a massive, "frothy" cluster for grand stairwells.

The Random is defined by its "perfectly imperfect" arrangement. The classic model features three spherical diffusers clustered together. Because each sphere is suspended by a slim metal wire and powered by its own internal LED, the fixture mimics the way bubbles naturally group together in the air. It is the premier choice for minimalist dining rooms and relaxation corners where a "soft, calming aura" is required.

Modular Clusters & Contemporary Finishes

The "Soap Bubble" Aesthetic: Crafted from perfectly smooth, mouth-blown glass that is resistant to temperature fluctuations. The glass is thin enough to appear weightless but durable enough for high-traffic residential or commercial use.

Expanded Color Palette: While Chrome, Gold, and Rose Gold are classics, the collection has introduced "Nature-Tone" finishes, including Mandarin Orange, Golden Sage, and Deep Azure Steel. These allow for more playful, multi-colored clusters.

Integrated LED Glow: Each sphere houses an integrated LED source at the top, hidden within a silicone seat. This ensures the light is diffused through the glass without a visible bulb, creating a soft, indirect glow that avoids harsh glare.

Canopy Versatility: Lodes' system is designed for Modular Canopies. You can install a single Random unit on a round canopy or group up to 36 units on a large rectangular or circular cluster plate for high-ceiling voids.

Designer Tips

The "Breakfast Nook" Trio: Hang a single triple-sphere Random over a small, round breakfast table. The differing heights of the spheres add visual interest and "movement" to the small space without overwhelming it.

The "Multi-Colored Cascade": For "maximalist" interiors, use a large round canopy to cluster multiple units in a mix of Glossy Smoke, Gold, and Clear. Stagger the cable lengths to create a 2-meter long "cloud" of bubbles in a stairwell.

Task vs. Mood: Because the Random emits a soft, diffused light, it works best when paired with recessed architectural downlights. Use the Random for ambient mood and the downlights for task lighting over kitchen counters.
