Retro Glass Pendant Lamp M110

The M110 model is the defining "Globe" variant of the Malane Retro Glass series. Unlike its sister models—the bell-shaped M108 or the flat-domed M109—the M110 features a spherical, orb-like shade. It has become a favorite for kitchen islands and entryways due to its "360-degree glow" and the rhythmic shadows it casts on surrounding walls.

Textural Contrast & Artisan Hardware
Striped Glass Artistry: The shade is made of thick, high-clarity glass with deep vertical ridges (stripes). These ridges act as prisms, catching the light and creating a shimmering effect that changes as you walk around the room.

Warm Metallic Finishes: The fixture is typically paired with Aged Brass, Brushed Copper, or Chrome hardware. The contrast between the cold metal and the warm, glowing glass is a hallmark "Mixed Material" trend.

Textile Suspension: Features a premium braided fabric cord (usually in black or matching metallic tones), adding a tactile, high-end feel compared to standard plastic wiring.

Universal Compatibility: Designed to be the "hardworking" piece of a lighting plan, it is compatible with all standard E26/E27 LED bulbs, including smart-home integrated bulbs like Philips Hue.

Expert Recommendations
The "Linear Trio" Island: For a 6-to-8-foot kitchen island, install three M110 pendants in a row. The repetitive ribbed texture adds a sense of order and architectural "rhythm" to the kitchen.

The "Asymmetric" Bedside: Designers are moving away from table lamps in favor of low-hanging pendants. Drop an M110 roughly 18 inches above each nightstand to free up surface space and create a cozy, amber-toned sanctuary.

The "Retro Mix": Pair the Amber Glass version with walnut furniture and deep green walls for a true 1970s "Showa Retro" or "Mid-Century" vibe.

Care & Performance
Is the glass easy to clean? Because of the vertical ridges, dust can settle in the grooves. We recommend using a soft-bristled brush (like a clean makeup brush) or compressed air to dust the shade without leaving streaks.

Does it provide "Task" or "Ambient" light? The M110 is primarily an ambient light source. While it is bright enough for general illumination, the ribbing diffuses the beam. For heavy food prep or detailed tasks, we recommend pairing it with recessed ceiling spots.
