Serge Mouille Plug In Wall Lamp

The Serge Mouille Plug-In Wall Lamp is the perfect solution for collectors and design enthusiasts who want the "insectoid" silhouette of a Mouille original without the permanence of a hardwired installation. Featuring the signature swivel "mussel" shade and a long, tapered steel arm, this version includes a high-quality textile cord and integrated switch, allowing it to be mounted anywhere with an available wall outlet.

The "Moule" Shade: Hand-molded aluminum shade with a white-painted interior for optimal light diffusion. The shade sits on a brass swivel joint for 360-degree rotation.

High-End Textile Cord: Unlike generic plastic cords, the authentic plug-in version features a premium braided fabric cord that complements the matte black or white finish of the steel arm.

Integrated Control: A discreet on/off switch is positioned on the cord for easy access, eliminating the need for a wall-mounted dimmer or switch.

Adjustable Reach: The arm pivots horizontally on the wall bracket, allowing the light to extend deep into a room or sit flush against the wall when not in use.

Expert Recommendations
The Modern Apartment: Ideal for renters who cannot modify walls. The plug-in feature allows you to take this investment piece with you whenever you move.

Above the Nightstand: Position the lamp so the cord drops vertically behind a bed frame. It provides a clean, architectural look that replaces bulky table lamps.

Creative Studios: Use the long-arm version over a drafting table or desk. The ability to "swing" the light into position makes it a functional tool as well as a piece of art.

Is the cord visible? Yes, the cord drops from the bottom of the wall bracket. For a cleaner look, many designers use brass or black cord covers that match the lamp's finish.

Can I convert it to hardwired later? While technically possible for a licensed electrician, it is recommended to purchase the specific hardwired version if you plan on a permanent installation.
