Wabi-Sabi Wavy Terraced Ricefields Pendant Light

The Wabi-Sabi Wavy Terraced Ricefields Pendant Light by Malane Lighting is a sculptural fixture with a resin canopy that curves over layered, terraced waves — echoing the rippled contours of terraced rice fields. The integrated LED glows softly through each ridge for a warm, artistic wash of light. Choose from three colorways — terracotta, black, or white — in two sizes, 15.75" and 23.6" wide, for a bold, organic centerpiece over a dining table, console, or lounge seating.

Why you'll love it

• Sculptural wave form — a flowing, asymmetric silhouette inspired by terraced ricefield contours, striking from every angle.
• Three colorways — terracotta (rust top, cream ripples), black (matte black top, amber ripples), and white (soft gray-white top, cream ripples).
• Layered ambient glow — light diffuses through each ripple, casting a gentle, textured warm white light rather than a single hard source.
• Two sizes — 15.75" for a dining table or entry console, 23.6" as a dramatic statement piece.
• Durable, lightweight materials — resin and acrylic construction keeps the fixture easy to hang and maintain.
• Conversation-starting design — a one-of-a-kind art piece as much as a light source.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Wabi-Sabi Wavy Terraced Ricefields Pendant Light made of?

The flowing top shell is resin, while the rippled underside is layered acrylic that diffuses the LED into a soft, warm glow across each wave.

What colors is it available in?

Three: terracotta (rust top with cream ripples), black (matte black top with warm amber ripples), and white (soft gray-white top with cream ripples). Each colorway has the same sculptural terraced form, just a different palette.

What kind of light does it give off?

An integrated LED produces a warm white glow that filters through the acrylic ridges, creating a soft, layered wash of ambient light rather than a single bright point.

Which size should I choose?

Choose 15.75" for a dining table or entry console, or 23.6" for a bolder statement over a larger table or in a double-height space.

How is it installed?

It hardwires to a standard AC 110–240V supply and hangs from a ceiling mount. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

How do I clean it?

Turn off the power and wipe the resin and acrylic surfaces gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the finish.
