Whispering Kerchiefs Chandelier

Originally inspired by the Kerchiefs collection, this fixture captures the graceful, weightless momentum of fabric caught in a silent breeze.

It is celebrated as a "Luminous Poem," favored for spaces that require a dramatic focal point without the visual "heaviness" of a solid metal or dense crystal fixture.

The Whispering Kerchiefs is defined by its "handkerchief" elements—individual, hand-blown opal glass pieces that are shaped into delicate, fluttering folds. Each piece is suspended at a varying angle and height to simulate a moment frozen in time. The edition is the premier choice for grand dining rooms, nature-inspired hotel lobbies, and tranquil lounge areas, where it transforms the ceiling into a serene, shifting skyline.

Floating Opals & Bespoke Composition

Hand-Blown Opal Glass: Each "kerchief" is crafted from premium glass with a soft, milky opal finish. This finish acts as a natural diffuser, emitting a warm, non-glare glow that mimics soft morning light.

"Support for Customized Drawings": As part of Bespoken Series, Malane provides professional AutoCAD 3D blueprints based on your specific floor plan. You can specify a "Tight Cluster" for a centered glow or an "Exploded Drift" that spans across an entire hallway or lobby.

Integrated Multi-Tone LED: Features a high-CRI (92+) integrated LED system. The model allows for Dynamic White tuning, enabling you to shift from 3000K (Warm Glow) to 6000K (Cool Breeze) to match the time of day or event mood.

Contrasting Metal Accents: Each glass element is capped with a minimalist metal finish in Luminous Gold or Polished Silver, providing a sharp, luxurious anchor to the otherwise weightless design.

Designer Tips

The "Floating" Foyer: In a double-height entryway, position the Grand configuration so the lowest kerchief sits roughly 8 feet above the floor. The translucent opal glass will fill the vertical void with light without obstructing the architectural view of the stairs or upper mezzanine.

The "Weightless" Dining Room: For large oval or round tables, request a custom circular drawing. The soft, organic shapes of the kerchiefs provide a sophisticated contrast to the hard, straight lines of modern furniture and stone surfaces.

Material Synergy: Pair the Gold + Silver finish with Venetian plaster walls or silk-textured wallpaper. The way the light "whispers" off the frosted glass complements soft, tactile interior finishes.

Care Guide

Opal Glass Sensitivity: The frosted/opal surface of the glass can trap oils. Use specialized microfiber gloves during installation to prevent fingerprints.

Light Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush or a dry microfiber duster for weekly maintenance.

Deep Cleaning: Every 12–18 months, use a professional non-residue glass mist or a mixture of warm water and a drop of mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive chemical cleaners, as they can degrade the specialized opal finish.

Longevity: The modular LED drivers are housed in the ceiling canopy, allowing for easy servicing without needing to dismantle the intricate glass suspension.

Lead Time: Because of the custom drawing and hand-assembly process, lead times typically range from 10 to 12weeks.
